History
While little is known about the professor in "First Missions", the comic "La Super Energia!" reveals that he specialized in the study of energy acceleration and developed crystallic rods, a potentially unlimited power source, and was kidnapped by Zurg and forced to share his knowledge. He then escaped to a ruined city on Planet Z and sent a distress signal to Star Command, and Team Lightyear were dispatched to rescue him.
