The Octopoidal Prisoner is a convict with a very nasty temper.
History
When Buzz was temporarily arrested for allegedly attempting to assassinate the President of the Galactic Alliance, the Octopoidal prisoner took the chance to attack the former in "revenge" for arresting him. Their fight consequently led the prison ship they were riding in to crash onto a nearby planet. By the time the Space Rangers arrived, Buzz and the Octopoidal were long gone.
While rescuing the other prisoners, Team Lightyear learns from the manifest that there was no Octopoidal present for transport. It's revealed that the criminal alien is actually a suit used by the Gargantians to manipulate Buzz for their plans.
