Petra Hammerhold is Senator Hammerhold's daughter. She is in a relationship with Plasma boy and currently training to become a Space Ranger.

History

Moved by Booster nearly sacrificing himself, Petra thanks him for saving her boyfriend while Plasma Boy realizes that space rangers are cool.

Afterwards she decides to enroll in the space ranger academy, with Plasma Boy enrolling so they could remain in contact. This choice left her father flustered that his daughter is still seeing him.

Personality

Petra is a stereotypical teenage girl who is rebellious to the desire of her father and other authority figures.

Gradually, she comes to respect Team Lightyear after seeing them in action and witnessing Booster nearly sacrificing himself, to save her boyfriend Plasma Boy.

Afterwards she decides to be a space ranger, both to be like Booster and to remain in contact with her boyfriend.

• Petra is also the name of a young female soldier in training in the science fiction novel Ender's Game. Whether this is a coincidence or done on purpose is unknown.
• Booster found her to be attractive but she only saw him as a friend.
