Natron ruled the galaxy thousands of years ago until he was overthrown and entombed on his homeworld, Planet X, by the Protector. When exploring LGMs and Warp Darkmatter accidentally break him free, he attempts to take over the galaxy again, but is thwarted by the combined efforts of Warp and Team Lightyear, who entomb him again.

Physical Appearance

Natron has pale green skin, but is wrapped in dark blue bandages. His eyes are yellow, and he is taller than many other beings.

History

Early history

Natron once ruled the galaxy with an iron fist until one day, a hero called the Protector rose up against him. When Natron was defeated and entombed by the Protector, he vowed that he would return and reclaim what he had lost.

Present

Thousands of years into the present, Natron was accidentally released by the LGMs. However, he was severely weakened from his centuries-long imprisonment and required a new life force. He found one in the form of Warp Darkmatter.

Now revitalized, Natron left Planet X and began his rampage on the galaxy, starting with Capital Planet. He easily took out Star Command and any remaining defenses. Team Lightyear intercepted Natron, but he proved too powerful, incapacitating Mira Nova and Booster Munchapper in the process. Before Natron could obtain victory, the remaining Space Rangers and Warp joined forces and built a device that drained the life force Natron stole and returned it to Darkmatter.

The Space Rangers and Warp returned Natron to Planet X and imprisoned him once again, though he vowed once more to return. Mira Nova sealed the entrance to his tomb to ensure no one else would ever awaken the space mummy.

Personality

Natron is bent on domination of the galaxy and destruction of all those who oppose his will. He saw himself as the true ruler of the galaxy and demanded respect from everyone, regardless of whether they served him or not.

Abilities

He has a variety of devices at his disposal, but most do the same thing - that is, freeze people in time. The freezing is directly linked to Natron, as demonstrated by the fact the bubbles of frozen time vanished when he was drained of his power.

Natron is a mineral and ingredient used in the Egyptian mummification process.
(Speculation) Natron might be based off the Egyptian god, Seth.
