| Wirewolf first comes into being when Ty Parsec is bitten by the energy vampire, NOS-4-A2, and then doused in radioactive moonlight. From there, the Wirewolf reeks havoc upon the research facility and it takes nearly all of Team Lightyear to stop it from eating the robots and threatning the scientists.

| Later, Wirewolf is brought out yet again thanks to a fiendish scheme from NOS-4-A2 to turn everyone into wirewolves just so it could feast upon them.
